Kate Ryan will be visiting Canada on the 1st week of November . This was confirmed by her official site www.kateryan.be . She's also top 40 in Colombia with "Ella Elle L'a" and is getting ready for a breaktrough in Brazil.

Newspaper Interview / Entrevista de Jornal

Recently Kate Ryan talked about her breaktrough in the USA : "Perez Hilton put some stuff about me on his blog ,then the press seemed to woke up . However I did nothing to prove it."
She has also confirmed that she has a new contract in Canada and In South America too " It's good to have a chance in different places and things start to really work on the good way now , but still nothing like in Europe".
She was also asked about her tatoos and piercing: " I have in total 6 tatoos and 1 tongue pierce." and life before the new management: " Before working with the new management they were able to do everything they wanted with me . They decided the hairstyle , the clothes , since I went to eurovision I was able to be myself."
Talking about the singer's private life now ,she seems to have a new love in her life: " Yes I have a new love, but I'm not determined to talk about it much , because he's not famous and when you have this job , almost everything can make your relationship vulnerable".
Also the singer says to be "Stronger" like her second album released in 2004. " I do miss my mom a lot , when she died I couldn't return to our old family cafe which she used to own in Tessenderlo . It took me a while to return to the "Oude Post, but now I'm over it ."
And finnaly she commented about her eating disorders in 2005 " I have it undercontrol now. I know how far I can go and I have to be carefull for the rest of my life. Back then I tended to fall back as I didn't feel very well".
The singer will be next month in the TMF AWARDS , she has been nominated for 3 awards : Best Pop, Best Album and Best Female Nacional. Vote on www.tmf.be

Kate Ryan Stars of Europe

Kate will be tomorrow the 19th in Brussels (Belgium) to perform in an event called "Stars Of Europe". The event will be next to the Atomium , one of the signs of Brussels and Belgium and its money will be given to Unicef.

Announced the 5th single / Anunciado o 5ª single

The 3rd single from the album "Free" is still charting and also the 4th is going to be released on the 29th of September all around Europe. But we have already the news of which will be the 5th single: "Your Eyes". This song was written by 4 people including Kate and the 2NProductions team . There is also a french version for this song named "Tes Yeux".

Kate Ryan is on this month's issue of the German FHM . The Headline for the singer is "The Belgian Temptation".

This week Free has debuted in the Netherlands top 100 at the 66th position. Remember that the only Kate Ryan's album to chart there was "Different" and it only made to #88.
The new single "I Surrender" is already charting on the Ultratip belgian charts on both Flanders and Wallonia, being at 6# in the 1st one and 29# on the second one.
Her 3rd single "Ella Elle L'a" continues to be a massive hit in Spain , selling now more than 120.000 copies achieving the certification of 6x platinium. It has also been number 1 in Spain for 6 consecutive weeks, making it to be considered now the 2008's summer song.
In Portugal it is still charting on the Sagres Fm Top 10 . It has moved up to number #3 . It is important that people vote for Kate , this can help her to enter the national charts.

Ella Elle L'a is now one of the favorite 10 songs of a local radio (Sagres FM) in Algarve, Portugal.
It is now number #6 i the top ten. We hope to see Kate to enter the bigger radio charts and also the Portuguese National Top 50.

Free 160.000 copies sold / Free 160,000 cópias vendidas

It's true the new Kate Ryan's album "Free" has sold now more than 160.000 copies all over Europe. It is also gold now in Poland and has sold more than 10,000 copies there. It is said that it is likely to reach the 200.000 or 300.000 copies.
For Ella Elle L'a is now 5x Platinium (100.000) in Spain and also number one for 5 weeks . It is also gold in Sweden (10.000 copies).
The new single I Surrender is expected to enter the charts within 1 or 2 weeks .

É verdade , o novo album de Kate Ryan "Free" já vendeu agora mais de 160.000 cópias na Europa. Atingiu também o certificado de disco de ouro na Polónia vendendo mais de 10.000 cópias lá. é provavél atingir as 200.000 ou 300.000 segundo uma fonte próxima à cantora.
Quanto a "Ella Elle L'a" atingiu o estado de 5ª platina (100.000 cópias) em Espanha e também se encontra numero um lá h'a 5 semanas. É também disco de ouro na Suécia (10.000 cópias).
O novo single "I Surrender" é esperado entrar nos tops daqui a 1 ou 2 semanas.
